1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Otis service operated by xVentures AI Inc ("we," "us," "our"), a New York corporation operating as TextOtis.

By texting (929) 400-1845 or using textotis.com, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Otis Is

Otis is a text-based personal assistant service that connects NYC residents and small businesses with independent service providers — locksmiths, handymen, cleaners, and more.

Important: Otis is a coordination and coordination service. We are not the service provider. The errand runners in our network are independent contractors, not employees of xVentures AI Inc.

We facilitate the connection and coordinate the job — but we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or outcome of work performed by any service provider.

• Otis provides upfront pricing before any errand is confirmed.
• You are not charged until you confirm a request.
• Payment is handled directly between you and the errand runner. Otis does not process your payment.
• Pricing is for the specific service quoted and may vary by job type, time, and complexity.

5. Service Provider Relationship

The errand runners in the Otis network are independent contractors. xVentures AI Inc is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or quality of work of any errand runner.

We vet our errand runners but do not guarantee their work. Any disputes about service quality should be raised with us — text us and we will work to resolve the situation.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

xVentures AI Inc is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including property damage or personal injury resulting from work performed by a service provider.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

7. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information (address, description of issue)
• Not abuse, harass, or threaten errand runners or Otis staff
• Not use the service for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The Otis name, logo, and service are the property of xVentures AI Inc. You may not use our branding without written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to stop providing service to any user at our discretion.

You can stop using the service at any time by replying STOP or simply not texting.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
